THE PREPARATION OF HEMP SEED FOR BAIT OR TO USE AS AN EFFECTIVE FISH ATTRACTOR
Firstly pre-soak the hemp seed for about two hours. Put approximately two pints of water into a saucepan of boiling water. Add about one pint of hemp and bring the water to the boil, then leave to simmer for about 15 minutes or until the small shells of the seed start to open and release the white inner flesh. Drain the seeds and allow to them to cool. It’s ready.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A couple of interesting facts …
1. The Hemp seed is the seed of the Cannibas plant. The plant is illegal in the UK. The seeds are “sterilised” to ensure that, if grown, the plants will not contain THC (the active ingredient in cannibas to get you high!)
2. The first Levis blue jeans were made out of 100 per cent hemp.
